The start of a new project J. VAN ESCH BV and Iter Fidelis join forces to care about the water infrastructure in the area of Rijkswaterstaat dienst Noord-Brabant (Dutch Highway and Waterway Agency). The main activities include maintaining and managing the calamities in this area.

The area contains the shores of the Zuid-Willemsvaart, Wilhelminakanaal and a part of the Noordervaart. Within this area you find a total of 21 locks, over 70 bridges and many other objects.

Iter Fidelis is responsible for realization of project management, contract management, risk management and its maintenancemanagementsystem.

Coentunnel 2, an integrated project approach The Coentunnel 2 road construction program, in Amsterdam, has been set up under a DBFM (Design, Build, Finance and Maintain) structure by Rijkswaterstaat (Dutch Highway and Waterway Agency). Therefore, it demands a new approach, integrating the different processes for the design, construction, financing and maintenance.

Iter Fidelis, Oxand’s Netherlands subsidiary, is assisting the contractor in implementing this integrated approach, in particular with combining system engineering and risk-based processes.

Avenue2, supporting the maintenance program Ballast Nedam and Strukton are working together for the project Avenue2, to get to grips on the A2 and N2 (Maastricht, south of The Netherlands) with a part of area development called ‘De Groene Loper’.

Avenue2 is responsible for managing and maintaining the infrastructure during the realization phase. On behalf of Ballast Nedam Iter Fidelis support the maintenance program.

Electrabel, content and linguistic usage check Oxand France compose, commissioned by Electrabel, an ageing management plan for the nuclear power station in Doel (Belgium). The aging management plan guarantees the safety of the operation.

Iter Fidelis operates as a sparring partner and verifies the documents on content and linguistic usage.

Joslyn North Mine Project, supporting the energy company Iter Fidelis and Oxand will support an energy company with the Joslyn North Mine Project. From 2014 onwards, for a period of twenty years, the energy company will produce bitumen from oil sand fields in Alberta, a province of Canada.

A-Lanes A15, process and performance For the realization of extension of the A15-Vaanplein, Iter Fidelis concerned with the Process Equipment, Process Management and Performance Measurement System.

R&D Program

Besides the projects for clients, Iter Fidelis also run a research & development program. Currently we are working on developing and knowledge, concepts, methods and techniques for:

Optimal construction, and building with a view to demolition
A research to the many possibilities for demolition friendly materials, connections and construction is conducted, to reduce the life time costs.
